1. Early Voting Support

Location: Early Voting Site (South Buncombe Library – 260 Overlook Rd, Asheville 28803)
Duration: October 17 – November 2
Shifts: Three 4-hour shifts each day (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

2. Election Day Support

Location: Eleven Precincts across Buncombe County
Date: Election Day, November 5, 2024
Shifts: Three 4-hour shifts in each precinct (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Responsibilities: Distribute campaign materials, assist voters, and monitor polling stations.

3. Door-Knocking Campaign

Start Date: August 1, 2024
End Date: October 17, 2024
Shifts: Two 4.5-hour shifts per day (10:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM)
Responsibilities: Visit 28,000 homes, distribute flyers, engage with residents, and gather feedback.

4. Texting Campaign

Duration: Flexible hours
Responsibilities: Text your friends, neighbors, family, and other voters to (1) make them aware of Jim's upcoming speaking engagements and (2) remind them of important election-related details like the start/end of early voting.

5. Distributing Campaign Literature

Location: Public places and events (e.g., in front of grocery stores, at the WNC Fair)
Duration: Flexible hours
Responsibilities: Distribute campaign literature, engage with the public, and answer questions.

6. Campaign Events Assistance

Duration: Flexible hours
Responsibilities: Assist in planning and execution of campaign events such as rallies and fundraising events.
